| WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY (5th June 2008) |
|
 St. Thomas youth league, Kallooppara has celebrated the world environment day by organising various programs to develope social awareness among the people. The program was inaugurated by the Hounorable M.L.A Joseph M Puthussery. Other attendees of the program were Sri. Saji Maanprakuzhy (OCYM secretary), Sri. Anil Abraham (Panchayat Member, Kallooppara) and Fr. Geevarghese Thomas, Thundiyil. The various programs included oath taking to preserve and keep our environment neat and tidy, planting new trees and also cleaning of the main junction and premises at Kallooppara.

| WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY (31st May 2008 ) |
|
 Youth league has conducted a meeting at Kallooppara Junction on the occassion of "World No Tobacco Day" on the 31st of May. The meeting started at 4.00 PM which was presided over by Rev Fr. Cherian P Varghese (Vicar). Sri Jopseph M Puthussery (M.L.A) inaugurated the public function. Sri. Mathai T George (Faculty of Jerusalem Mount H.S.S, Vakathanam) gave message on the occassion about the hazards of using drugs and tobacco.
Other attendees of the meeting were Rev Fr Varghese Mathew (OCYM vice president), Rev Fr. Y. T Vinayaraj (Vicar of Bethel Marthoma Church, Kallooppara), Sri E.K.Soman (Ex President of Kallooppara Panchayat), Sri. Saji Maanprakuzhy (OCYM secretary), Sri. Anil Abraham (Panchayat Member, Kallooppara). There was also a 'Visual Message' against the use of tobacco and drugs organised by the St. Thomas youth movement, Kallooppara.

| RENOVATION OF THE CHURCH |

 By the grace of God the renovation work of the church is progressing very well. The church would like to thank all the members who has extended their support for the same. The latest photos can be viewed in the renovation page.
