St. Mary's Orthodox Church, situated at the heart of a small village called Kallooppara, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala is a priced possession of Malankara Sabha. It is one of the oldest churches in Kerala. Our church is a perfect example of the ancient temple architecture and is a mystery the way it has overcome all the challenges of time. The church which is the worshiping place of thousands has been a topic of research for many.

We, at St. Mary's are a diverse, life bubbling community, a group of harmony loving people who have generated ourselves and cherished in our love for all, over the past 800 years. Currently there around 700 families worksiping in this church. The church administration is done by a governing body which is elected anually by the church members.
